Dr Roberts is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School Centre for Alternative Finance where he directs the Cambridge Open Banking and Open Finance course for regulators. He is also advisor to the Bank of Thailand on Open Finance and its Your Data project.

Previously he was Head of Open Banking at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) where he led the design and implementation of the World’s first open banking ecosystem.

Before becoming a regulator he held senior management positions in the information publishing businesses of what is now Thomson Reuters and before that was COO of Which?, the UK’s leading consumer advocacy and comparative testing organisation
