Mr. Max LAU is the Head of Investment Promotion of Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) Sydney Office. InvestHK is the investment promotion agency of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), supporting overseas and Mainland Chinese companies and institutions, from multinational corporates to startups, to plan, set up their business in Hong Kong, and to expand their operations and international reach via Hong Kong. InvestHK collaborates with investment promotion agencies from around the world to facilitate this two way investment.

Prior or joining the Sydney Office in 2024, Mr. Lau had been with the InvestHK Headquarters in Hong Kong for six years, focusing on supporting Fintech companies. Before joining InvestHK, Mr. Lau worked in international public relations agencies advising companies on their external communications in IPO, investor relations, and corporate communications.
